Irena Stefan

Physiotherapist

I qualified as a physiotherapist in Lithuania in 2015 with honours, following which I gained clinical experience working within the National Health System outpatients practice in Poland.   Later I followed in the footsteps of my husband and moved to the UK in 2016.

I have 3 years of clinical experience working in the private MSK outpatient setting, specialising last year in Paediatrics and Adolescents within the NHS.  This has enabled me to manage various complex musculoskeletal, sport injuries and paediatric conditions. I offer my clients an holistic approach to treatment including manual therapy, trigger point massage, deep soft tissue massage, muscle energy technique, rehabilitation and ergonomics together with lifestyle advice.

I believe that every individual deserves the right to have the best treatment on offer to return them to full function in the shortest possible time, regardless of age or ability.

I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a member of Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (SCPC).

Outside of work you can find me riding a bike, travelling and exploring the world or reading a book.
