I qualified as a physiotherapist in Lithuania in 2015 with honours, following which I gained clinical experience working within the National Health System outpatients practice in Poland. Later I followed in the footsteps of my husband and moved to the UK in 2016.
I have 3 years of clinical experience working in the private MSK outpatient setting, specialising last year in Paediatrics and Adolescents within the NHS. This has enabled me to manage various complex musculoskeletal, sport injuries and paediatric conditions. I offer my clients an holistic approach to treatment including manual therapy, trigger point massage, deep soft tissue massage, muscle energy technique, rehabilitation and ergonomics together with lifestyle advice.
I believe that every individual deserves the right to have the best treatment on offer to return them to full function in the shortest possible time, regardless of age or ability.
I am a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and a member of Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (SCPC).
Outside of work you can find me riding a bike, travelling and exploring the world or reading a book.
I am the LBhealthcare Deputy Team Leader.
I qualified as a physiotherapist in Portugal, from Escola Superior de Saúde do Alcoitão, in 2018. Soon after, I gained clinical experience working in private practice and later with a local rugby club in S. João do Estoril.
My desire to expand my horizons and career opportunities led me to move to England in 2019. In 2021, I was offered the amazing opportunity to join LBhealthcare and here I am!
I enjoy involving my patients in their care, as they have the power to influence and improve their rehabilitation and educating them so they know what their options are and what to expect from treatment. Furthermore, setting goals is pivotal so that patients know what we are working towards and how can we achieve it efficiently. MSK conditions and sports are my passion.
Personally, I am a big fan of exercise and physical activity. I enjoy dancing, running and martial arts.
I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2015 in Romania and decided to pursue a career in Physiotherapy in the UK following an outstanding summer placement at a private Physiotherapy Clinic in Ipswich.
I have worked in the NHS since 2017. Over the last 4 years I have developed the skills and competence to carry out complex physiotherapy assessments, to formulate a diagnosis and a treatment plan whilst working as an autonomous practitioner. My training and practice have helped me develop a strong foundation of physiotherapy skills including advanced physical examination, manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription. I use these skills to provide a high standard of care to my clients. In my daily practice I meet people with various MSK conditions, I listen to their needs and goals and guide them through the recovery process whilst promoting long-term self-management strategies.
I improve my knowledge and maintain my competency through continuous professional development. I regularly create opportunities to develop and remain abreast with clinical knowledge and evidence based clinical practice in my area of work. I ensure that I reflect on my own practice and adhere to national guidelines and initiatives. I am state registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).
Outside of work I keep myself fit and active by cycling, jogging and exercising. I volunteer for a local football club providing pitch-side first aid and dealing with acute sports injuries in young athletes. This give me the perfect opportunity to support my local community and socialise with people that have a passion for sports, especially football.
My clinical motto is person-centred rehabilitation through evidence-based practice!
