LBhealthcare, in accordance with Government guidance that medical services will remain open, supported by our governing bodies, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Society of Sports Therapists will remain open during the lockdown.
The Government has stated that attendance for medical appointments or visits where you had an accident or are concerned about your health, even for those categorised as clinically extremely vulnerable, is a permitted reason to leave home https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-lockdown-stay-at-home Accordingly, we will be continuing to offer face-to-face medical services to our patients thereby reducing the burden on our significantly over-stretched NHS. We will continue to offer online consultations to those who would prefer a remote appointment. Our COVID-19 operating procedures are well established and we will continue to provide our clients with a safe environment in which to receive medical treatments.
Established practises of temperature checking, COVID-19 screening and the full use of PPE will continue and all clients will continue to be asked to wear face masks or coverings whilst they are in the clinic. Our much sought-after hydrotherapy pool will remain open for aquatic therapy to enable our clients to continue their rehabilitation and enjoy the many benefits that the very warm water brings to strengthen muscles and ease pain. This is a COVID-19 secure environment and essential for many patients to ensure they are able to continue to progress their rehabilitation. Many of our patients have provided positive feedback on how secure and at ease they have felt returning to therapy at LBhealthcare and we are grateful to all our patients and staff for their continued support as we work our way through the pandemic, safely, together.
We look forward to continuing to see you at LBhealthcare.
