Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is the treatment of a wide range of conditions in a heated pool environment. The warmth of the water relaxes the muscles, buoyancy assists or resists movement and the weightlessness decreases pain and stress on the joints.
LBhealthcare has one of the largest ozone hydrotherapy pools in the UK, giving us great scope and flexibility to treat many conditions. The pool is available to clients for over 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday for hydrotherapy. It is heated to over 93 degrees Fahrenheit (34 degrees Celsius) and contains a jacuzzi. Here are just a few examples of conditions which we treat:
